Join us for a joyous, play-based adventure in the land of make-believe as we explore the art and excitement of storytelling! Each day, children will participate in musical, interactive tales, enjoy dramatic costumed character play, create artistic expressions of stories, learn to craft puppets and props, investigate the basic components and rhythms of story play, engage in individual and cooperative activities, and experience indoor and outdoor free play time. Throughout the week, children will have the opportunity to make a storytelling game, puppets, story maps, and a miniature puppet theater to take home! Storytelling camp will be lead by Karrie Korroch, a professional storyteller known for her dynamic, fun, and lively approach to crafting interactive experiences through singing, movement, and puppetry.
