Owner, Kasey Shoemaker, is an MSU graduate who lived and worked in Chicago for six years. After having twins in the city, Kasey moved back to the Lansing area to combine her love for children with her entrepreneurial spirit. The result is play., a space where children can play safely with other young children while providing parents or caregivers the opportunity to relax comfortably with other adults, have a cup of coffee, and keep an eye on their little ones. Kasey is dedicated to the environment, and uses natural, local, organic materials wherever possible at play.
