What is expected from parents and caregivers while at play.?
Parents & caregivers are expected to:
- monitor their children to ensure the safety of their child(ren) and other children.
- make certain that their child is playing in an appropriate manner, which includes: not causing harm to him/herself or other children playing and not causing unnecessary harm or damage to the toys, walls, or structures within our space.
- help keep walkways clear of toys at all times for the safety of all children playing in our facility.
- role model general clean up of toys and play areas at the end of their visit. Picking up 5 - 10 toys that your child may or may not have played with, helps play. stay tidy and teaches our children to clean up after themselves and to respect public spaces.
Is play. 100% safe for my baby/child?
play. is a safe place for babies and children, but it is not free from every risk of injury. Our playspace is not a padded room filled with pillows. The walls, floors, doors, fixtures, structures, and many of the toys are made of wood or other hard materials; It is possible for these things to be a source of minor injuries. The other humans in the playspace are also potential sources of injuries. The environment at play. is as safe as necessary, not as safe as possible {because isolated, padded rooms aren't what we had in mind when we set out to build an imaginative indoor playground for children}. Again, we'd like to remind you that it is the parent/caregivers' responsibility to ensure the safety of their child while at play..
